Kara has more than 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Although becoming a therapist was not her original plan, her career in social work revealed a need she felt equipped to meet. Throughout her life, people naturally entrusted her with their stories, and she discovered that one of her greatest strengths was offering a steady presence where others felt seen and understood.
She believes our experiences and relationships shape the way we see ourselves, others, and the world around us. Kara strives to create a counseling relationship where clients feel safe enough to be honest, explore difficult experiences, and build the capacity to move forward with greater wisdom, resilience, and hope.
Kara is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and integrates attachment-based therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, Theraplay®, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®). Her clinical experience includes trauma, attachment, adoption and foster care, anxiety, depression, addiction, grief, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.
As a Christian counselor, Kara provides evidence-based care through a Christ-centered lens for clients who desire to incorporate their faith into the counseling process.

Anne's desire to help others began in junior high school and eventually led her to a 20-year career as a high school educator. Throughout those years, she encouraged students not only in
their academic growth but also as a trusted mentor, listener, and steady source of support through life's challenges.
Today, Anne is grateful to continue that calling as a counselor.
She believes every person is created with inherent worth and purpose.
Anne is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that helps children, adolescents, adults, and families navigate difficult experiences, strengthen relationships, and grow in resilience.
Anne's clinical work is grounded in a trauma-informed perspective. She understands the lasting impact that life experiences can have on emotions, relationships, behavior, and overall well being. She has experience working with children from foster and adoptive backgrounds, as well as adults receiving intensive outpatient treatment.
Anne strives to create a counseling relationship where clients feel safe, respected, and understood. Whether someone is facing trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, or grief, she seeks to help clients build practical skills, increase their capacity to navigate life's challenges, and move toward lasting growth.
